What Should I Bring to My Bankruptcy Appointment?
How to Prepare for Your Meeting
Have you scheduled an appointment to meet with an experienced Hipple Law, P.C. bankruptcy lawyer? Are you wondering what you should bring to your first consultation? At Hipple Law P.C., we want the legal process of filing for bankruptcy, fighting foreclosure, and / or addressing a wage garnishment to be as easy as possible.
We feel that it is important to offer our clients the opportunity to meet with us free of charge for an initial consultation. With more than two decades of experience working in the legal field, we understand just how stressful financial constraints can be. We don't want your first meeting with our office to be another stressor in your life. Therefore, we offer a free, no-obligation consultation to all new and potential clients.
If you have access to any of the following documents, we encourage you to bring them with you on your first visit to the office or email them prior to meeting with a Hipple Law, P.C. attorney:
- Financial documents such as earning statements and tax returns
- Loan documents, vehicle loan and home mortgage statements
- Litigation documents for pending legal action against you
We Use Electronic Petition Preparation
In order to keep the filing process as efficient and accurate as possible, we use electronic petition preparation tools. This means that our clients will not be asked to complete any lengthy, handwritten forms. Instead, everything is prepared online. To help our clients stay organized, we send e-mail copies of all pertinent documents that are filed through the case.
Our Philosophy for Filing
When it comes to helping our clients, at Hipple Law P.C., our first priority is to attend to any matter that might be urgent. For example, if you are being sued in a lawsuit, your wages have been garnished or you are facing repossession or foreclosure, we will want to address the matter immediately. After any urgent matters have been discussed, we can devise a general strategy.
